‘The Butchers Block’ is the forefront of our business, however a lot of the work is done behind the scenes at our factory, Cribbin Meats in Rathaghan, Co, Kildare.
The Cribbin family are third generation butchers and Tom Cribbin set up his first butcher shop in 1990 and his first factory in Portlaoise in 1992 and since then has begun to set up the largest chain of butchers shops retailing in Ireland. The Cribbin family set up their first factory in Rathaghan in 2002, they began butchering on a much bigger scale supplying their own chain of butchers along with selling wholesale meats to other butchers around the country.
All our beef is traditionally and naturally reared in Irealnd, supporting our rural farming community.
It’s all boned by our highly skilled qualified butchering team managed by our Master Butcher and our beef is matured for over 22 days before stepping foot in our stores to ensure the highest quality to our customers.
